IBM and Lenovo Cache Battery Failure?
Repair & Replacement Batteries for your Flashsystem 840/900 or Storwize V3700, V5000, V5010, V5020, V5030 & V7000 disk array.
Used in the controllers for the Flashsystem all flash array or Storwize storage systems. These cache batteries ensure data integrity during power loss by maintaining cached writes until the data can be written to disk.
Each pack contains multiple Lithium Ion cells that must be impedance matched and balanced to guarantee life expectancy. Poorly balanced cells reduce performance and can trigger premature “replace battery” warnings from the array.
