Used in the controllers for Nexsan E Series, Nexsan E Series P and BEAST / BEASTP / SATABEAST / SASBEAST systems. These cache batteries ensure data integrity during power loss by maintaining cached writes until they can be written to disk.
Each pack contains Lithium Ion cells that must be impedance matched and balanced to guarantee life expectancy. Poorly balanced cells reduce performance and can trigger premature “replace battery” warnings from the array.
Fixed price repairs are available now for batteries in an “as-failed” condition for:
