Used in the controllers for Dell EqualLogic Storage PS4210, PS6210 and PS6610 series disk arrays. The 10DXV and KVY4F are a 6.6VDC, 1.05Ah (Max 1.1Ah) 6.93Wh (Max 7.26Wh) Lithium Ion battery pack.
The battery contains two Lithium Ion 18650 cells that must be impedance matched via a calibration process to guarantee life expectancy. Poorly balanced cells will reduce the batteries performance and life span.

THE SMART ALTERNATIVE FOR CACHE BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Gentronics have developed a repair process for the EqualLogic 10DXV and EqualLogic KVY4F where both Lithium Ion cells are replaced with new cells, the battery is internally calibrated and the electronic manufacturing date code is changed (to reflect the repair date) along with the End of Life warning dates and the End of Life dates. These date changes along with the calibration, are critical to the functionality and life of the product.
DELL no longer manufactures the 10DXV and KVY4F battery. Having evaluated many of the Chinese re-production batteries, a repair option of the original DELL OEM battery is preferred for many reasons. Gentronics are enabling our customers to continue to maintain the DELL EqualLogic PS4210, PS6210 and PS6610 disk arrays supporting the circular economy.
